Resin Bound Gravel – 168m2
This new driveway scheme replaced the old driveway that was a mixture of block paving, concrete and crazy paving, all in a very poor sunken condition.
The groundwork teams removed all of the old driveway, installed concrete root barriers around the rootzones of the large trees, then installed Granite Sett edgings and a 5 row rumble strip. A Tegula sett step formation was installed to create a 150mm step up to the front door landing area.
Our teams then installed the porous SUDs compliant sub-base and the porous asphalt base layers.
Finally, the resin team installed the finished layer of Resin Bound Gravel, blend Golden Harvest.
Apologies for the image quality, we will update with another shoot in the summer.
