New Garden Design & Build project commences in Sevenoaks, Kent

This new project commenced this week, and finally the snow early this week is thawing today.

This project is a re-designed rear garden scheme involving the creation of a new larger rear terrace, a terraced lawn area at 75cm above patio level, retained by natural stone faced retaining walls. then a large set of steps and a ramped path climbing through the planting areas to the upper garden lawn areas.

The teams are busy here reducing all the soil levels to new formation heights, we have installed a new large soakaway for the patio area drainage and roof drainage to reduce the amount of stormwater reliant on mains drainage, the next step once soil levels are correct is to install the concrete foundations for the new retaining walls and steps, whilst doing so we will lay the cable for the new lighting system.

Ashleigh Miles is the project Manager here, on handover Ashleigh could see the difficult challenge ahead due to the gradient of the site and said ” i can’t wait to get stuck in and transform this tricky space, once the snow clears”.

Here you go Ash, What snow!.

Look out for this one, Ashleigh is managing the project and will keep you updated with regular blogs so you can see the progress.
