Oakleigh Manor’s Garden Joinery

Slogans are used by firms all over the world from a marketing perspective to capture your attention. They are also called ‘straplines’ in the UK; some are more memorable than others. Some even have nothing to do with a company’s activities – simply used as a commercial tool. But here at Oakleigh Manor, a saying that has been growing in the office recently is:

There’s more to us than just landscaping.

This could not be more true. Not only are we one of the UK’s leading landscape design and build companies; we are also multi-disciplinary specialists in a wide range of services. This means that whatever your requirements, Oakleigh Manor can provide all from under one roof. All of these services can be found on our website. They range from the aforementioned landscape design and build service, to resin gravel surfacing. From irrigation to garden lighting. From horticultural services, to the subject of this blog post, garden joinery.

Headed by our Garden Joinery Director Dan Weir, he and his teams of expert joiners can fulfil any joinery requirements you may have. The image you can see featured on this blog post is an oak framed garden room recently erected in a garden near Reigate in Surrey. I think you would agree this recent project is something to behold! I went to see this in development on the way back to the office two weeks ago on my day on site with Rupert Davis, our head Landscape Architect. It wasn’t quite finished then, but I could tell that it would look incredible! My instinct was certainly right.

This oak framed garden room features curved top kiln dried oak doors, created by Dan and his teams. As I’m sure you can assume, this sort of finished article requires years of experience, training and ability. Dan has all of these at his disposal, with more to boot. You can also take it from me, he’s an all-round good guy, too! Extremely likeable and professional, his attitude that he installs into all of his teams fits to the Oakleigh Manor ethos beautifully.

There’s plenty of examples of Dan’s work on our Pinterest webpage, as well as our Facebook account. You can also see some of his work our Portfolio. His ability is astonishing; just think about what he could do for you and your garden…plenty.

A little Easter Egg for you; you can’t see it in the feature photo, but on the wooden sliding bolt on the oak doors, at the request of our client, Dan chiseled a fleur-de-lis! This is a terrific example of the bespoke, personal service that not only Oakleigh Manor Garden Joinery can offer you, but Oakleigh Manor Limited as a whole can offer you. Dan is not, by his own admission, a mason, but based on the perfect flower symbol he chiseled I believe he could be! I hope that it isn’t something he is considering for a career change though, he’s way too valuable to us here at Oakleigh Manor!

So please, do check out some of the work Dan and his teams of expert garden joiners have conducted under the Oakleigh Manor umbrella on the links provided above. We hope you enjoyed this article; please find us on Facebook and Twitter for regular updates and to ensure you never miss our blog posts!
