Resin Bound Gravel Project in London

Stuart | August 31, 2013 | 0 Comments

After 2 weeks of hard work, one of the teams have just completed this new driveway scheme in central London.

Within the first week, the 70-75 tons of spoil was excavated removed from the old driveway to create enough depth for the new porous base layers of the new driveway.

An oval shaped central planting bed was created, 2 link paths to each of the front doors of the attached properties, then the driveway was edged with traditional naturally cropped granite setts.

Then 200mm of porous Type 3 sub-base was installed, 60mm of Porous Asphalt base, then finally 18-20mm of porous Resin Bound Gravel, blend Harvest Crunch.

The clients are delighted with the end result!

Client testimonial

We were very impressed with how responsive Oakleigh were.  We were shown lots of options and the job was scheduled very quickly. The drive was completed on time and we are very happy with the result’.
