Sydenham Project – week 1

This new front garden and driveway project neighbours another Oakleigh Manor scheme completed in 2009.

Here we have re-designed the front garden to form a new beautiful low maintenance scheme for our busy clients. The new design is based around a new porous Resin Bound Gravel driveway, Sandstone flagged link paths to the rear, new front boundary brick piers and iron railings, balanced with a new low maintenance yet stunning planting scheme.

The large multi-stemmed silver birch is one of the existing features that will remain and enhance the new scheme, 2 extra parking bays are created around each side of the tree, the 2 large Fushias will be transplanted to the rear garden.

Here Miro, has his waterproofs on again as he starts work today with the excavator to remove approximately 70 tonnes of unwanted concrete and spoil to make way for the new porous base layers of the new driveway.

Look out for more progress pics over the next few weeks.
