A new 380m2 Natural Sandstone terrace is going to keep this team busy for the next 6 weeks, then 66m of cast stone balustrade will be fitted around the outer edge. This end of the terrace is being excavated today down to formation level, the sand based subsoil will be used to fill the other end of the terrace behind the conservatory, using a cement stablisation process to make the fill material structurally suitable as a base, reducing the amount of muckaway to landfill and incoming sub-base materials.
Its only day 1 today, keep watching the blog as this one will transform the rear of this magnificent property, we hope to give you some great updates and pics as things come together, as long as the team pull their finger out!
