Automated Entrance Gates NE London

As part of a new front driveway scheme, our clients required a new automated sliding gate system to maintain security and ease of daily access to their home. A 3.6m wide x 1.8m tall air dried oak hardwood gate together with a 1.2m wide x 1.8m tall pedestrian gate, both designed by our team then fabricated at the joiners shop. The large oak posts were used to frame the entrance, existing cast iron post caps were fitted to furnish the posts.

During the 1st fix, the posts and the sliding gate track, guides and motors were installed during the groundwork phase, together with power and communication cabling for the gate system. The video intercom system was recessed into the oak posts piers together with its colour monitor and communication unit within the home to view all new visitors before allowing access. A coded keypad, remote keyfobs, internal keyswitch and a vehicle sensor in the driveway provide opening ability from anywhere in the world, safety photocells are installed within each post to prevent the gate closing whilst pedestrian or vehicular traffic is passing through the entrance.
