New Front Boundary Scheme, Kent
This project in Edenbridge involved building new boundary walls and gate piers formed in imperial red reclamation handmade bricks, matching the house, and capped with moulded apex pier caps. The driveway is shared between two houses, so we installed two postboxes into the left-hand wall to collect letters and parcels. We manufactured and installed Otterden style gates made in iron, hot-dipped galvanised, and powder-coated black. The gates are automated on a swing system using underground motors, sitting flush to the driveway surface. We also installed a wireless WIFI-based voice intercom, allowing communication from the gate location to the houses. Due to the restricted space, we installed an accessory to the left-hand gate, allowing it to open up to 180 degrees to allow more turning space in the drive. We also installed multiple stainless steel up-lighters recessed into the ground to illuminate the gates at night. A great end result that our clients are very pleased with!
