If you’ve been catching up on your Oakleigh Manor blog reading this week, you may have come across a project update post about a swimming pool construction we are currently carrying out in Essex. I also said that I would try my best to bring you another post about the project, so here it is!
Unbeknown to me, I believed that this project was solely the construction of a concrete-shelled swimming pool. However, after liaising with one of our talented project managers, I was informed that hard landscaping is also on the agenda for this particular client! I think I need to listen more…Nevertheless, kudos to us for taking this reasonably large project on! I know our in-house team will deliver.
It was this particular photograph I was sent that made me realise this was so much more than a swimming pool. But what can I say? There’s more to us than just landscaping. Even with a number of team members on this site, there is still a lot of work to do. But after speaking to our project manager, directors and even the client, all are happy with the progress that has currently been made.
The focus for our in-house team in the last couple of days or so has been the hard landscaping next to the swimming pool construction and the expert build process of the pool surround. There is still more work to do, as you can see, but looking at the paving work in the bottom half of the image above tells this author that this swimming pool will look stunning when this project has finished. I’m looking forward to the results!
Finally, here’s an image of the other side of the swimming pool and the progress of the swimming pool surround. Everyone involved is happy with the both the speed and the quality of the work so far. Rightly so! Our teams do work hard and they deserve so much credit – the lifeblood of our company!
Hopefully next week I will have another project update for you. The project manager has informed me that a goal for next week is to make inroads with the tiling of the swimming pool concrete shell. Then the project will start to come together!
Join us next week to see, with a bit of luck, how they have got further.
