Tranquil Family Garden in Dover

Sleek and stylish – this beautiful garden was designed and built by Oakleigh Manor in early 2023. Our clients provided a loose brief for this project, which was to design a family-friendly garden to be used for entertaining and relaxing, in a Contemporary style but with hints of the Mediterranean.

Victor, our Landscape Architect, designed a beautiful space using the existing sloping garden to create 3 tiered areas: the main dining & entertaining terrace, lawn area, and upper seating area for relaxation.

The terraces are created using a mixture of white and buff coloured paddle-stones, forming beautiful feature walls & steps, along with textured silver-grey granite for the patio areas.

The bespoke corten steel trough water feature in the upper seating area creates a sense of calm and tranquility through the sight and sound of the water movement, creating a blissful environment to relax in.
