Cottage style planting
The garden required a spacious terrace area, pathways and steps joining onto a Traditional style Orangery attached to very traditional building. The terrace was created using matching brick to the existing building and Sawn Sandstone copings giving it a stylish finish. The Sawn Sandstone steps with brick risers lead you down the levels. The existing brick terrace was lifted, stored on site and reused to create a pathway leading to the entrance. The planting (cottage style in some areas and Mediterranean in other areas) was key – to soften all the edges throughout the garden.
