Garden Design & Build in Whitstable
The brief for this project was to transform the existing tired and lifeless garden into a contemporary haven for relaxing, entertaining and dining. The garden was in full view from the open-plan kitchen, framed by large glass patio doors, so first impressions were very important in this garden.
The new garden encompasses a raised patio area using porcelain paving, broken up with pockets of lush evergreens and grasses for winter interest, along with a stepping stone transition area, surrounded with Kentish ragstone gravel for textural change. The black-painted fence provides the perfect backdrop for the planting scheme, which includes Hydrangeas, Agapanthus, Hebes, Rosa Kent, Miscanthus sinensis, Cercis Canadensis & Olive trees.
